Fargo Post 400 League Continues Summer Schedule at Starion Bank Field

The Fargo Post 400 Baseball league opened its 2026 regular season with doubleheaders on June 4 at Starion Bank Field, where the new Rockets squad faced the West Fargo Rattlers in its inaugural campaign.

League Structure and Local Teams

The league fields four squads: the Astros, Comets, Stars and Rockets. These clubs play within the broader Fargo Area Sports framework that runs both recreational RRVL and travel-team baseball and softball programs. Games occur at established local venues such as Starion Bank Field, giving Fargo residents direct access to competitive play without leaving the city.

Facility Support for Year-Round Play

The Fargo Parks Sports Center at the Sanford Sports Complex in South Fargo, located at 6100 38th St. S., supplies indoor options that complement outdoor fields. The 390,000-square-foot complex reached full operation after Phase II opened on January 9, 2025. It features two ice rinks, six indoor pickleball courts, eight hardwood courts, a turf field and an indoor walking track, all developed through a $126.6 million public-private partnership on 123 acres.

Season Timeline and Community Access

Phase I of the sports complex opened to the public in June 2024, and the full facility now hosts tournaments and community programs throughout the year. Fargo Area Sports has scheduled its 2026 summer baseball and softball games through late July, allowing consistent weekly matchups at Starion Bank Field and similar sites. Winter operating hours at the complex run 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends, with the indoor track open free to the public during those times.

The current schedule keeps local teams active well into mid-July. Residents can follow game times through Fargo Area Sports listings or the Fargo Park District to attend doubleheaders or check field conditions at Starion Bank Field.
